While shopping at Joann Fabrics about a month ago, I came across some beautiful fabric and knew I would have to use it on a project!
I ended up using it on the chair below and another set of chairs that aren't quite finished.
This is the original fabric that was on the chair when I purchased it.
This is the way the chair looked when I picked it up at the Salvation Army.
I sanded it, primed it and replaced a couple of the wood buttons that were missing.
It stayed in this condition for about a year. Then I came across the flowered fabric and Paris Gray Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.
A perfect pair!
I really like the end result. The pale gray color matches the fabric perfectly.
