Handcrafters Weekend in the Country

My sister and I took a day out this weekend to take in the 2nd Annual Handcrafters, Weekend in the Country.
It took place in the fairgrounds in Davisburg, Michigan.
The Fair takes place the last weekend in September.
If you want to check it out you can
It was an absolutely gorgeous day, sunny and 75 degrees.

We saw a lot of nice Vintage Booths, Vignettes, Vintage Camp Trailers.
There were many newer handmade vendors that I was not real comfortable photographing.
I'll start off with some of the vintage booths.
The picture above and the two below are of an artist named Jan Blough from Fenton, Michigan.
She makes the most beautiful and creative framed Silhouettes. You can find out where she'll be displaying her crafts here.

Very cool green multi drawer chest

This vintage booth had the most unique bed made from a Volkswagen!

There were lots of beautifully painted and repurposed vintage items

My Sweet Holly, a home décor shop in Holly, Michigan had a booth where they were selling their home décor, vintage items and painted and repurposed furniture. You can visit their website here.
They are now carrying chalk, clay and mineral base paint from the American Paint Company. They are supposed to be similar to the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint line.  You can check out their website here.

Another booth we really liked was one called Tickled White. They don't have a shop, but you can follow them on Facebook!
The B Hive had a large booth and seemed to be having a good day with sales. They're located in Goodrich, Michigan and they can be followed on Facebook.

The Pigeon in the Parlour located in Holly, Michigan had a beautifully displayed booth.
They carry Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and lots of vintage items.
You can find out more about their shop here.
The next three pictures are from their display.

Also displayed at the Weekend in the Country Fair were vintage camp trailers.
The group was called Sisters on the Fly. They had taken old camp trailers and decorated them in different themes.
You can check out the Sisters on the Fly here.
Some were decorated in Vintage, Shabby Chic, Western and one with an Owl theme

Some of the Sister's on the Fly were dressed to match their camp trailers.

There were beautiful Autumn Vignettes scattered throughout the fairgrounds

My sister and I also went to some garage sales before the Handcrafter's show.
I picked up some cool things I'll have to post later.
