Before and After

Vintage Child's Chair

I've been working on a lot of projects lately. 

I finished one!

This vintage child's chair was purchased at a garage sale last Summer.

It was in pretty good condition but I felt it needed a coat of paint.

Here are some of the before pictures.

I sanded it, wiped it down with a tack cloth and then gave it a couple of coats of Kilz.

The color I chose is Weathered Glass,

Satin Finish by Valspar.

I painted two coats.

I then stained it with a mix of water and a brown

craft paint.  I covered it pretty good and then wiped most of it off.  I left just enough to give it a vintage weathered look.

Then I scuffed it up a bit to give it a "well used" look.
